Waiting for lighter winds and hopefully winds from the right direction to continue south along the French coast. Cherbourg is a nice place so it is not a big problem.

We rented a car together with Viveka and Erik on sy Embla and went for a trip. Our first stop was at Pierre Huet, a cider and calvados producer.

After trying (and buying) some cider and calvados we went to a small village, Pont-l´Évêque, for an excellent lunch.

Then we continued to the very picturesque town Honfleur.

On the way back to Cherbourg we stopped at Omaha beach.
